FORMA MENTIS
Forma Mentis is an endless journey where paper meets other materials, like fabric or wire
and became something else.
Is art to wear , to experience and carried around with all its meaning.
It is a latin term that indicates a person’s mindset , a person’s set of attitude, or ,
more simply,the mental structure.
It also interesting how these two words alone precisely indicate artistic work: continuos
reflection and study which are expressed through shapes.

BIOGRAPHY
After graduating from The Marangoni Fashion School in 2000, the artist worked for many years as a pattern maker, while going through a deep change in her personal life she decided to dedicate herself to another great passion and learn the different methods of paper processing. Book sculpture, Cut Out and Origami are some of the techniques she has perfected and she overlaps these in her creations. If up until then she was able to turn stylists ideas into three dimensional creations she has now managed through her intriguing personality to construct her own excellent designs.
This new beginning of her artistic experience lead her to create various designs, each one different to show her technique, nature and purpose. The young artist/designer still collaborates in fashion and works on commission when she’s free to use her creativity, she makes incredible accessories, but above all she creates artistic pieces imbued with value and significance. Each piece has a different inspiration: a song, a meeting, a journey and those books that, after many hours of developing, modelling, glueing and precise cutting, take the fragile, elegant forms that mirror her sincere personality; each single piece has a unique value, it’s own life, a clear sign or a hidden element amongst the folded pages.
